Understanding Display Order

You can change the order of items, categories, and menu headers in quotes. The order you set applies to all future quotes.

Three elements can be reordered: menu headers (or category names if not using menu headers), categories, and individual items within categories.

Changing Menu Header Order

Navigate to Settings and select Menu Headers. Each menu header has a drag handle (arrows icon). Click and drag a menu header to move it up or down in the list.

The order is saved automatically when you drop the item. This order applies to all quotes. For example, "On Arrival" can be moved to the top of the list if it should appear first.

Changing Category Order

Navigate to Menu Items and click Manage Categories. Each category has a drag handle. Click and drag a category to reorder it.

The order is saved automatically when you drop the category. This determines the order categories appear in quotes when menu headers are not used.

Changing Item Order Within Categories

Navigate to Menu Items and click on a category to view its items. Each item has a drag handle. Click and drag an item to move it up or down within the category.

The order is saved automatically when you drop the item. This determines the order items appear within their category or menu header in quotes.

Changing Section and Department Order

Navigate to Sections & Departments. Each section has a drag handle. Click and drag to reorder sections. The order is saved automatically.
