Consolidated Item View

See all items needed across multiple orders in one view, making it easy to plan production and ordering.

What Is the Consolidated Item View?

The Consolidated Item View aggregates all items from your upcoming orders into a single report. Instead of checking each order individually, you can see the total quantities of every item needed across all orders for a given period. This is invaluable for production planning, supplier ordering, and kitchen preparation.

Accessing the Report

Go to Reports → Consolidated Item View. You can choose between two time ranges:

  • 7-day overview — See everything needed for the coming week
  • 4-week forecast — Plan further ahead with a month-long view

How It Works

The report pulls items from all accepted orders within the selected period and totals the quantities. Items are organised by category — menu, beverages, and equipment — so you can quickly see what's needed in each area of your operation.

Filtering by Order Status

By default the report shows items from accepted orders. You can also include pending quotes to see potential requirements that haven't been confirmed yet. This is useful for anticipating demand and ordering ahead.

How to Use It

  • Production planning — Chefs can see exactly what needs to be prepared and in what quantities
  • Supplier ordering — Identify items that need to be ordered, with exact totals across all orders
  • Resource allocation — Plan staffing and kitchen time based on the volume of work ahead
  • Waste reduction — Order precisely what you need rather than estimating

Tips

  • Export the report to PDF for kitchen planning meetings or to share with your production team
  • Check the 4-week forecast regularly to stay ahead of large orders or busy periods
  • Include pending quotes when you want a complete picture of potential demand
