Tagging Quotes

Learn how to use tags to organise and categorise quotes and orders.

Understanding Tags

Tags organise and categorise quotes and orders. Apply tags to filter and find specific orders based on event type, customer category, or custom classifications.

Creating Tags

Navigate to Settings and select Tags. Click Add New Tag.

Enter a name for the tag (e.g., "Wedding", "Corporate", "Boat Shed"). Select a colour to distinguish the tag visually.

Save the tag. The tag is now available for use on quotes and orders.

Applying Tags to Quotes

When creating or editing a quote, locate the tags field in the quote details section. Select one or multiple tags that apply to the quote.

Coloured tags appear on the quote in the orders list. This makes it easy to identify quotes at a glance.

Save the quote. The tags are now associated with the quote.

Filtering by Tags

Use the search and filter functionality in the orders list to filter by specific tags. Click a tag to view all quotes with that tag.

Multiple tags can be selected to filter quotes that have any of the selected tags.

Benefits of Tags

Tags provide quick filtering to find specific events or customer types. Tags keep quotes organised by categorising them with relevant identifiers.

Reports can be generated based on tags to analyse business performance by event type or customer segment. Tags can track the status or stage of quotes in your workflow.
