Event Brief Docket

Create comprehensive event briefs that give your team everything they need for successful event execution.

What Is the Event Brief Docket?

The Event Brief Docket is a PDF document that brings together all the essential details for an event into one place. It's designed to be handed to your event manager or on-site team so they have a complete overview of what's required — from staffing and menu items to equipment and special instructions.

What's Included in the Event Brief

The docket is generated from the accepted quote and includes:

  • Event details — Date, customer name, contact name, and phone number
  • General notes — Any additional instructions or information added to the order
  • Staff information — Staff members assigned to the event with start and finish times
  • Menu and beverages — Full item list for the event
  • Equipment checklist — Equipment items with space to verify at the start and end of the event
  • Note attachments — Photos and PDFs attached to order notes

Adding Notes and Attachments

To include additional information in the event brief, go to the Notes section at the bottom of your order. When adding a note, you can:

  • Type any critical information for the event team
  • Upload attachments (images or PDFs, up to 8MB per file) by clicking Browse or dragging and dropping
  • Toggle Include note in event brief to have the note and its attachments appear in the PDF

Attachments are perfect for table layouts, venue photos, setup diagrams, or any visual reference your team might need on site. They appear in a dedicated "Note Attachments" section at the end of the PDF.

Generating the Docket

Go to the Dockets section for the order and click on the Event Brief Docket to download it as a PDF. You can print it or share it digitally with your team.

How to Use the Event Brief

  • Before the event — Review all requirements, confirm staff assignments, and check equipment lists
  • On site — Use as a reference for event flow, staff schedules, and equipment tracking
  • After the event — Use the equipment checklist to verify everything has been returned
