A Note on Pricing

Why Puree's Prices Are Changing

By Andrew Hemphill · 2 August 2026

What's Changing

For new customers, our Essentials and Professional plans are going up by a modest amount. Our entry-level Lite plan is staying exactly where it is, so there's still an affordable way to get started with Puree. The change takes effect for new sign-ups from August 2026.

You can see the current prices for your region on our plans page. Prices are shown in your local currency, so the exact figures depend on where you are.

Why We're Making This Change

Put simply, it costs more to run Puree than it used to, and we'd rather adjust our pricing honestly than quietly cut corners on the things that matter. The hosting, the payment processing, the email delivery, and the integrations that Puree depends on (Xero, QuickBooks, Google Calendar and the rest) have all grown as more caterers rely on the platform, alongside the day-to-day cost of supporting you and building new features.

We've held our prices steady for a long time while adding a great deal to the product. This change lets us keep investing in Puree properly. It means we can improve what's here, build what's next, and give you the support you expect, rather than letting the product stand still.

What You're Getting For It

Puree isn't the same product it was a year ago. Recently we've shipped combined Xero invoicing, a full developer API, kitchen-only chef logins, consolidated prep dockets, per-group menu commentary, Price on Application items, order managers, and plenty more, with still more on the way. You can catch up on the latest in our articles.

Fair Use Isn't Changing

The Professional plan still runs on the same fair-use basis it always has: up to 250 quotes a month and up to 10 users, which comfortably covers the vast majority of catering teams. If you regularly go beyond that, we'll happily agree a plan that fits your volume. Nothing about how much you can actually do with Puree has changed.

Questions?

Thank you for being part of Puree. If you have any questions about your plan, this change, or what it means for you, please get in touch. We'd rather hear from you than have you wondering.
