New Order Form Page 2 Layout in Puree.app

We're excited to introduce a redesigned Page 2 of the order form. This update brings a cleaner layout, faster item searching, and improved navigation—all while keeping the functionality you know and love.

What's New?

The first page of the order form remains unchanged—this update focuses entirely on the second page where you add items to your quote.

Quick Search

The new search bar at the top of the page is a game-changer for speed. Simply type to find any item across your entire catalogue—menu items, equipment, beverages, or even staff positions. Click on a result to instantly add it to your order with quantity, delivery time, menu header, and price options.

• Search across all item types in one place
• Instantly jump to quantity and details entry
• Override prices and names as needed
• Set delivery temperature if enabled

Category Tabs

Navigate between item types using the tabs along the top: Menu, Beverages, Equipment, Miscellaneous, and more (Staff and Venues appear when applicable). Within each tab, your categories are displayed for easy browsing.

View Full Order

Before saving, click the "View Full Order" button to see a complete summary of everything in your order. From this modal, you can click on any item to navigate directly to it, or remove items you no longer need.

One-Off Items

Need to add a custom item that isn't in your catalogue? The one-off item feature lets you create any item directly within the order. It won't be saved to your items list, but it will appear on the quote—perfect for special requests or unique additions.

Commentary Per Section

Each category section now has its own Commentary toggle. Turn it on to add descriptive text for that section, select from your commentary templates, or write custom content. Turn it off to remove the commentary entirely.

Why We Made This Change

This redesign serves two purposes:

1. Cleaner, tidier layout — Easier to navigate and find what you need
2. Foundation for Packages — This update paves the way for our upcoming Packages feature, which will add a new tab for pre-configured menu packages

Getting Early Access

If you'd like to try the new layout before the general rollout, simply contact us and we'll enable it for your account. Otherwise, it will be available to everyone after the Christmas period.
